Header & Intro

Rouben comes with a bunch of settings to control the page header and intro layout and content.

Globa Header & Intro Settings#

You can find the global header & intro setings under Appearance > Customize > Theme Settings in your WordPress admin panel.

In the header settings you can set options like the header layout, header content color, site logo, navigation style ...etc.

In the intro settings you have the settings divided into 4 categories:

• Pages Intro - To contrle the intro settings for pages.
• Projects Intro - To contrle the intro settings for portfolio items.
• Posts Intro - To contrle the intro settings for posts.
• Archives Intro - To contrle the intro settings for archives like posts home archive, categories & tags archives, search archives and so on.

This way you can have different look to each post type.

Overriding The Global Header & Intro Settings#

For more flixibility, Rouben gives you the ability to override the global header & intro settings for each page, post or portfolio item.

Each one of the mentioned post types has a Layout Setings meta box located in the editor sidebar. This meta box contains the header and intro settings that you can override. Settings like header layout, header content color, intro content color, intro background image or even video, can be set differently for each post separatly.

You even can remove the header and/or intro for some use cases.

Additional Layout Settings#

In addition to the header and intro settings, the Layout Settings meta box will has more settings depending on the post type (page, post or portfolio item). For example there you can remove the top and/or content padding in some cases when you are using Elementor to build a custom page content, turn of the footer in needed, set footer link for page (a creative link at the bottom of the page leads to any other page in the site) ...etc.
