Pages & Posts

Creating and managing pages and posts with FullScene is similar to any other WordPress theme. However, FullScene adds some special settings to them so you can control layout and some other content.

Page Templates#

Page template dropdown is located in Page Attributes meta box. You can choose from multiple available page templates, the default one with sidebar, and the full-width one without sidebar. Ofcourse you may have other page templates that's added by other plugins.

Available Page Templaes#

• Default Template - The default page template with sidebar. Just displays any custom content from the editor. Featured image can be set for this page.
• About Page - Displays team members, plus any content from the editor. Featured image can be set for this page.
• Archives Page - Displays useful archives for the blog, e.g. latest 30 posts, archives by author, archives by category… etc, plus any custom content from the editor. Featured image can be set for this page.
• Contact Page - Contains working PHP contact form with validation, and displays your contact information and location map (Google map), plus any custom content from the editor. Set Google maps API key under Theme Options > General > Miscellaneous. Featured image can be set for this page if not using Google map.
• Full Width Page - Normal page without sidebar. Displays any custom content from the editor in full width. Featured image can be set for this page.
• Home - Composition - Home page template. Gives you an easy-to-use content composer to select the type and order of predefined types of content sections. Upto six sections can be set for this page template.
• Home - Fullscreen Slideshow - Home page template. Displays your in fullscreen slideshow with optional captions and links.
• Portfolio - Fullscreen Slideshow - Displays portfolio items as fullscreen slideshow with title and excerpt.
• Portfolio - Grid - Displays portfolio items as thumbnails grid and any custom content from the editor. Has items filtering feature that can be turned on/off under Theme Options > Portfolio > General.
• Portfolio - Masonry - Displays portfolio items as thumbnails with masonry layout and any custom content from the editor. Has items filtering feature that can be turned on/off under Theme Options > Portfolio > General.

Page Settings#

Scroll below the main content editor to find Page Settings meta box. This is where specific page template settings will appeare.

Home (Composition) Sections & Content Types#

"Home - Composition" page template gives you up to six content sections to play with. In each one you can set one of the available content types shown below:

Each content type has its own settings that will be shown below the content sections.

Post Formats#

FullScene supports the following post formats:

• Standard - Has no special format content or settings.
• Link - Has special link settings and shows the specified link at the begining of the post.
• Video - Has special video settings and shows the specified video at the begining of the post.
• Audio - Has special audio settings and shows the specified audio at the begining of the post.
• Quote - Has special quote settings and shows the specified quote at the begining of the post.
• Gallery - Has special gallery settings and shows the specified images as a slider at the begining of the post.
• Aside - Has no special format content or settings, even shows no title.
• Status - Shows the post content in a status-like style with author's avatar, but has no special format settings.

Some of these formats has special settings that can be found in Post Format Settings meta box below the main content editor. For example if the "Gallery" format is selected, some gallery related settings will appear in the meta box, like selecting the gallery images and height.
